Robin Quivers
Summary
Robin Ophelia Quivers (born August 8, 1952) is an American radio personality most notable for being the news anchor and co-host of The Howard Stern Show. Quivers graduated from the University of Maryland with a major in nursing and joined the United States Air Force in 1975, being promoted to the rank of Captain by 1978. After three years of active service, she attended the Broadcasting Institute of Maryland, and entered the radio industry in 1979. Within two years, she worked as a news and consumer reporter at WIOO and WCMB in Pennsylvania before returning to Baltimore at WFBR. In early 1981, Quivers was asked to become a news anchor for Stern, a new morning personality hired at WWDC in Washington, D.C..
