Summary
The Y Not Festival was born in a small quarry in Derbyshire. A modest scaffold stage and hand-made DJ booth housed the acts, but a new venue was needed to allow expansion. The home of Y Not was moved to Pikehall, Derbyshire.This years festival will be held between 5–7 August. The festival will be headlined by The Go! Team, Feeder and Maximo Park. The festival will once again be located in Pikehall.The festival will have 3 music stages:Before it was even known as Y Not Festival it was a small gathering of sixth form pupils from Queen Elizabeth's Grammar School, Ashbourne.
