Mark Wood joined Future plc as head of its UK operations in 2010 and was appointed Group CEO in October 2011. He is accelerating Future’s digital evolution.
The company is now a world leader in producing content for the iPad and has grown its online business to over 40 million unique user visits a month. Future won the AOP’s Consumer Digital Publisher of the Year award in both 2011 and 2012.
In November, Future revealed it was making $1 million a month in revenue from digital magazine editions. It sells more than 100 digital editions and apps for tablets, and reaches more than 50 million unique users via it's web properties.
Future has developed its own publishing platform, FutureFolio, used to create digital editions of Future titles. The platform is also being licenced to other publishers, including Auto Trader's ignition app.

Mark was previously CEO of ITN, the news organisation, where he developed the digital archive and web video businesses. Before ITN he was Editor-in-Chief of Reuters and head of its Media business.
